WHO ARE YOU?
Battlethunder Games first appeared on the WWW in 2002. The site was set-up to allow the sale of wargames rules that were being designed and played by a group of gamers in Norfolk, UK. As the rules being produced seemed 'rather good' it was decided to spread them far and wide on a basis that is more reassuring for the people purchasing the rules online. HOW MANY SETS OF RULES DO YOU HAVE? Lots! Some of our previous rules have been discontinued, as we felt that times have moved on, and the older rules seemed out of date. Some of our rules are being re-written to bring them up to date. One example of this was our Dogsoldiers rules for the American-Indian Wars. Currently we are selling only one set, From The Delta To the DMZ, our rules for the Vietnam war. WHAT WILL YOU BE RELEASING IN THE FUTURE? As with most miniature wargamers, we are fickle, and prone to dropping everything to play a new 'cool' period, just because we like the figures! The awesome Peter Pig 15mm range for the Russian Civil War has inspired us greatly. The rules we have written to cover the period, Cold Before The Dawn are nearing completion and should be released sometime in 2006. Other projects include: 1. A comprehensive set of Colonial rules, provisionally called 'Dear Vicky'. We are currently looking for playtesters worldwide for these, so drop us a line if you fancy helping out. The rules will also cover WW1 in Africa. 2. Men Against The Game: Gunboat Diplomacy. A set of theatre-sized rules for modern warfare, with a twist. Battlefields cover hundreds of miles, and allow players to focus on high command decisions. The twist? Everyone is on the same side! OPFOR are generated in-game and use a set of simple tables to allow them to fight the players. If you fancy toppling regimes, then these will be the set for you. HOW CAN I CONTACT YOU?
